*TRY-OUT* ”Meet Me, I, You, We Together” Hildegard Mandos plays her own compositions with elements from Soul, Afro, Jazz, Bossa Nova and South American music together with Jina Sumedi and Marius Tjon. Positive, moving and in-depth texts by Hildegard and guest writers in English, French, Portuguese and Dutch. Born from the vision to follow your heart, to inspire people to discover, develop and enjoy their own unique value. This results in surprising moments in the music where the listener can daydream in a relaxed way straight to the heart, but can also move wonderfully because the music gives energy. Hildegard Mandos & Friends basically consists of 4 band members: Hildegard Mandos is one of the first Dutch Jazz / Bossa Nova singers who accompanied herself on double bass, guitar or electric bass. With her colorful voice, which is powerful and soft at the same time and her lively playing, she sings beautiful (multilingual) songs with uplifting lyrics by herself and others, leaving no soul untouched. Jina Sumedi is a pianist, but also plays accordion, ukulele and melodica. With her energetic and cheerful appearance, Jina is a much sought-after musician with a very broad musical background and extensive life experience, which is reflected in her naturally flowing playing. Jina is also active as an arranger/composer/producer. Marius Tjon is a versatile drummer/percussionist with a huge wealth of experience, born in Suriname and specialized in Afrojazz, Afro Caribbean, Pop, Soul, R&B, Funkjazz and Latin American percussion. Played with Fra-Fra sound, Fuzue, Humphrey Cambell & many, many more. Its smooth playing and enormous experience make it a pleasure to listen to and watch. Richard van Dorland is a sound engineer with an ear for detail. An extension of the musicians on stage, with a musical heart. Attention for every musician, space for his/her instrument, sound and interplay, for a transparent sound experience. Debut album of Hildegard Mandos & Friends (3rd quarter 2021) The debut album/CD of Hildegard Mandos & Friends is coming, also the first album of Hildegard Mandos, how beautiful is that ;-) Hildegard wrote more than 22 pieces with her own positive lyrics and guest writers' texts.
